Works 2022

By

The NIADA Holiday Show is on line and this means that I have uploaded my available work which is honestly a personal victory. I seem to have trouble finding the time to do this lately.

Sensing Tenderness . . .

There always seems to be something more important (which may just be an avoidance tactic) because wrestling with a website or unfamiliar platform has been known to unhing me. But here I am, making it happen. Not as hard as I thought.

Washed Ashore . . .

Here is the link to the Collection, there are many beautiful things to see. If you are interested in a particular artist you can put their name in the search bar and it will select their work . I find this simplifies my scrolling through an alphabetical list of everything there.

Also, I am going to finish several smaller pieces soon and some new paintings and drawings so keep an eye out!

thanks as always for your gentle support, Kate~

Hello Kate, I do hope all is well with you. and enjoy the holidays. Is the character balancing on the log, I don’t see a name for the piece, available? Would you tell me more about the piece, please?

Kate, I would like to purchase Sensing Tenderness. I am unsure how to go about this. When I push purchase on the website it takes me to a stage window of gmail. Please let me know how to go about this, if she is still available. Thanks so much. Gael Keyes

Good morning, Kate. I have been trying to purchase “Sensing Tenderness” this morning via the NIADA website but my computer is not cooperating. Is there a way I can make this purchase directly from you? Pam

As always my dearest Kate, your work takes my breath away. How wonderful you are in this great exhibition. Your work moves me as it always has.

Much is happening in my world lately. My granddaughter and family have moved to Saskatchewan where they found a lovely ‘affordable’ house. They had totally outgrown the one here and we all decided it best for them to have more space. Like magic, after they left, 2 young female teachers arrived looking for a place to rent. For a reduced rent, they will help me here on my property, everything from removing the snow to cleaning my house. They are terrific and so nice. So I’m being taken care of.

And….just as I thought my travelling days were over without my dear Drew, son Paul has invited me to go to Florida with him to celebrate the birth of his 2nd grandchild, a baby girl who will be born on December 22nd by caesarian. And we will stay over Christmas and then return to California to his home in Pal Desert. Which means of course, I will avoid a lot of winter here and the girls can take care of things here. Lucky me.

My Jodi is coming to stay in about 2 weeks for a few days while her Ted skis with friends in Revelstoke. She & Ted haven’t stopped travelling since he retired, so I’m glad I’ll have a chance to visit with her before I leave with Paul.

I have been in a group show in a gallery in Armstrong this past month and have sold quite a few things. I will try & include a couple if I can. It was therapy for me as the magnitude of my loss of Drew has been amazingly difficult. I don’t talk about it, so the family thinks I’m doing fine. And I mostly am.

I think of you so often and send love and the warmest best wishes to my darling Kate. Love always, Mary.💕
