Brad and I have talked of doing a show, just the two of us, for a long time and it is about to happen!

Brad has just opened his tenth kiln. His wood fired, free standing arching brick beauty holds over two hundred pieces of pottery which it needs in order to fire well and be worthy of the 8 followed by 16 hours of fire time. After witnessing ten firings this still seems impossible to me but he makes it look easy.

I exist within quite an opposite reality. . . in the same amount of time over winter and spring I have completed just a few pieces. It is rather interesting to live with such contrast.

Oh, I have had a rich rush of mad painting, and can’t wait to be able to see them in a large open space.

Brad’s latest firings are filled with richness, we can hardly wait . . .

Our opening is Thursday June 25th from 2-4pm in the gallery above the LaHave Bakery we look forward to seeing everyone !
